Fitness to Practice

An evidence-based programme aimed at encouraging attendees to understand the concept of whistleblowing and freedom to speak up, how to conduct/facilitate difficult conversations and to consider processes when addressing conduct and capability issues.

Introduction to Leadership

This programme develops leadership skills using a unique combination of facilitated training days and individual coaching sessions. It has been designed for individuals in the NHS, independent sector and social care organisations working at Levels 2-4.

Developing Leadership

A two-day programme designed to help nurses become effective role models in their workplace and to promote a team approach that is inclusive, vibrant and supported by continuous learning. Developed for nursing staff at Level 5 or equivalent.

Clinical Leadership

For future clinical leaders in the NHS, independent sector and social care organisations working at Level 6, 7 or equivalent. Through a residential training programme, representatives from your organisation will become RCN Clinical Leadership Programme facilitators, who can deliver the programme with our support.

CPD course with academic credits

Infection, Prevention and Control Programme

Develop your clinical and leadership skills in the prevention of infection and get skills to support the reduction of antimicrobial resistance. This programme will prepare participants for the challenges that directly impact on the prevention or management of infection. Here at the RCN, we have an agreement with Coventry University to provide 20 credits for this programme at either Level 6 (Bachelors) or Level 7 (Masters).
