This module examines the care of older people with dementia who are undergoing surgical interventions. It discusses recognition and assessment of dementia and delirium, capacity and consent, caring for carers and the specific needs of and interventions required by older people with dementia.Don't forget that you do not have to complete our two-hour learning modules all in one go.
