This practical learning module is aimed at helping practitioners refresh their knowledge of basic life support (BLS) supplementary to annual mandatory training. It offers a step-by-step approach to BLS based on Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines. Breathing and circulation, basic airway manoeuvres, chest compressions and ventilations are discussed.
