This module aims to provide nurses with information on how to recognise, assess and manage pain in older people with dementia. It discusses why a comprehensive pain assessment is crucial to effective treatment and pain management and emphasises the importance of involving family, carers and friends in the assessment process to build up a better picture of a person's previous medical and pain history.Don't forget that you do not have to complete our two-hour learning modules all in one go.
