The RCN’s Cultural Ambassador (CA) programme is made up of volunteers from black and minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds who sit on panels for grievances or disciplinary hearings where a BAME member of staff is involved.

This resource is aimed at nurses and nursing support workers across all settings and levels of practice, including students of health, social work and care professions.What will this resource give me?

- information on the over-representation of BAME staff in the employee relation process
- background to the objectives and delivery of the CA Programme
