The RCN Prince of Wales Nursing Cadet Scheme gives young members of youth organisations aged 16 to 25 an introduction to potential careers in nursing, combining guided online and experiential learning.

Who is this scheme for?
This resource is aimed at nurses across all settings and levels of practice, including students of health, social work and care professions.
What will this scheme include?
- learning modules and local clinical observational placement
- submission of a portfolio of reflection
- participant support when it comes to taking decisions on next steps, which can include a Level 2 or 3 related diploma, foundation degree or undergraduate nursing degree.
