Virtual wards and hospital at home services

This resource offers more information on virtual wards, also known as hospital-at-home services, which enable patients to receive medical care in their own homes rather than in hospitals. Introduced in England in 2022, this model aims to reduce pressure on hospitals while maintaining high-quality, multidisciplinary care for patients with acute or chronic conditions.
