Dementia describes conditions that affect the brain and lead to problems with memory, communication, reasoning and daily living. Alzheimer’s disease is most common, followed by vascular dementia. Some people have mixed dementia.
Who is this resource for?
This resource is aimed at nurses and nursing support workers across all settings and levels of practice, including students of health, social work and care professions.
